Grand Theft Auto V was full of great missions, both in and out of the main storyline. I'm going to look back over every mission I completed in the game and decide what the ten best ones were.

Honourable mentions: The Wrap Up, The Jewel Store Job, Nervous Ron, Fresh Meat, Liquidity Risk, Bury the Hatchet.

10. The Paleto Score

This mission probably has the most destruction you'll cause in the entire game. What starts off as a bank robbery turns into an all out war with the army. That mini gun sure was fun.

9. I Fought the Law...

You get to play as cops and robbers. It feels awesome having a high speed chase around the entire map and then getting to put your foot down in one of the fastest cars in the game.

8. The Third Way

If you chose option a or b in the end then you're crazy. Option c (or The Third Way) is the perfect ending for the game. Not only do all three main characters survive, but you also get to go and eliminate all of the villains who caused you trouble throughout the entire game, including the major dick Devin Weston. It's a really satisfying ending.

7. The Big Score

The big one! It's the final heist in the game and it's certainly an exciting one. You get to steal over $200 million in gold bars. There's two possible ways to do it, but I took the loud approach and used a massive cutter vehicle to drill into the bank from underground.

6. The Bureau Raid

Apart from mopping the floor, this was a fantastic raid. You cause and explosion and pretend to be firemen in order to infiltrate the government's most secure building. Once inside, it's a firey blaze with the building falling to pieces. It's pretty full on and incredibly exciting.

5. Minor Turbulence

This mission is something straight out of a high budget action film. You fly a crop duster into a cargo plane and fight off a bunch of mercenaries with cars flying out the back of the plane, then attempt to escape fighter jets while flying it, followed by a cinematic parachute jump and crash landing.

4. Legal Trouble

You have a high speed chase with one of the villains through the airport while planes are landing on the runways. You're constantly swerving to avoid the planes while the police cars aren't so lucky and get repelled by the engines. It get the adrenaline pumping. This mission also has the greatest death in the game where Molly gets sucked into one of the plane engines as she's running away.

3. Derailed

This is something straight out of a Mission Impossible film. You jump onto a moving train in a motorbike, then derail the train off of a massive bridge into a lake, and finally escape an army of enemies by speeding down the rapids in a speedboat. What a thrill!

2. Risk Assessment

I have no idea what the mysterious dog has to do with anything, but the mission itself was so awesome and it’s not even part of the main story. Having a side mission this high up the list just shows how much effort Rockstar put into every element in their game. In this mission you parachute out of a plane so high above the map that even the clouds seem far below you. Once you land on top of  Mount Chilliad you race Dom down to the bottom on mountain bikes. It’s sports at it’s most extreme.

1. Caida Libre

And finally the number one spot goes to Caida Libre. I don’t know what that means, but everything about this mission was awesome. To summarise, you shoot down a private jet with a high powered sniper rifle, then chase it across the map on a motorbike until it crash lands. The gameplay was at it’s best, as it was fast paced and even included some slomo stunts. I loved the location it took place too, which started at the observatory looking over the entire city and ended up in the Senora Desert. No matter how many times I play this mission, it’ll always give me a thrill.
